Campaign for Children (Phase III)

The Campaign for Children continues United Methodist Women's 135 plus-year legacy of strong advocacy for the rights and needs of children. Launched in 1988-1993, this first phase of the campaign charged local United Methodist Women groups with hands-on efforts to improve the lives of children in their immediate communities. Phase II of the campaign, 1994-1999, focused United Methodist Women's efforts on the theme ‟Making the World Safe for Children and Youth in the 21st Century."

Campaign for Children Phase III: Public Education, begun in 2002, calls on United Methodist Women members to be get involved in public education as advocates before legislators, volunteers in local schools and mentors for students.
