Mary A. Baldridge
Leader for "Food and Faith"
Mary A. Baldridge is a Lay women from Millersville, Maryland. She has recently completed eight years as a director of Women's Division and a director of the General Board of Global Ministries. Presently she is serving as a member of the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women for the United Methodist Church. Mary has served the Baltimore-Washington Conference as a Lay member for eighteen years and was elected to be a delegate to General and Jurisdictional Conferences four times. She is serving on the Conference Discipleship Council and the Episcopacy Committee and has served United Methodist Women as Vice President, Social Involvement Coordinator and Chair of Membership. For two years Mary was the Dean and Assistant Dean of the Conference School of Christian Missions and taught the Native American Study (Giving Our Hearts Away) last year.
Mary likes to travel and has traveled in Africa, Asia, South America, Central America, Europe and here in the United States. She has coordinated Volunteer in Mission trips and has been a part of an Ubuntu Journey. Mary enjoys teaching, singing in the church choir and is a Certified Lay Speaker.
