Leader for "Food and Faith"

Faye Wilson has been teaching in schools of mission for more than 20 years and is a strong advocate for education that is challenging, affirming, and life-changing. She has written several mission studies including the leader’s guide for this year’s spiritual growth study, Food and Faith.

For 21 years, she was a staff member of the General Board of Global Ministries working in the area of mission education. For the past five years, she has worked as coordinator of communications and parent/community outreach for the Wicomico County Public Schools in Salisbury, Maryland where she co-produces a 30 minute monthly video program, Working Together for Children.

She lives in Salisbury, Maryland and is a member of Mt. Zion UMC, Quantico. There she plays for four choirs, is coordinator of the liturgical dance ministry, and serves as vice-president of her unit’s United Methodist Women.

She is an avid Scrabble player (has her set with her) and is a devoted fan of the TV show Monk. She recently completed a stint as assistant music director for a community production of the play, The Gospel at Colonus.
