Based on United Methodist Women members giving and the approved budget for 2013,* the following calculations have been made to interpret the cost of mission for a specific time period. Use this information as you explain the value of United Methodist Women¹s mission work with women, children and youth in the United States and in countries around the world.
In reality, the true cost of mission is higher, when we consider inflation; however, these figures reflect the cost based on mission pledges and members' financial support.
