Prayer Calendar Reflection: July 2013
The Prayer Calendar presents many ministries with children that are turning faith, hope and love on behalf of children and youth around the world.
Deaconess Judi Day serves as director of outreach and nurture, after-school ministries and Youth Connect Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson, Oregon. Working with children keeps her connected to God:
Those of us who work with children understand it is always a challenge as well as an inspiration. Each day brings the opportunity for new insight in our attempts to follow in Jesus’ footsteps: Lord of Love, we need your guidance as we meet the not-so-lovable, that we may show as much kindness as we do to those who are so easy to befriend.
