The Prayer Calendar reflects the lives of disciples who have answered God’s call to live out God’s mission.
It is also a reflection of you—faithful disciples who enable and support mission through prayers and giving every day.
Describing her ministry Deaconess Valerie Mossman-Celestin, U.S. director of Haitian Artisans for Peace International (HAPI), Grand Rapids comments:
I am called to nurture women in Haiti to a life of dignity and respect that emerges out of both economic self-sufficiency and embracing oneself as a beloved daughter created in the image of God; my passion continues to evolve in outward ripples that envision communities where there is respect, equality of relationship, health and the moral and spiritual willingness to achieve Shalom…on earth as it is in heaven.
