In a culture of violence and in the Tillman Chapel now with 10,000 ribbons representing the prayers and hopes of people around the world, what has to happen within the political, economic, social, educational and development agendas to engage and enable the reconciliation of communities and individuals? What are “the things that make for peace”?


  • Young people volunteering in impoverished areas across the U.S.
  • Father Michael Lapsley, Founder Institute for the Healing of Memory
  • Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury, Former Under-Secretary General and High Representative of the United Nations
  • Ms. Cora Weiss, Hague Appeal for Peace
  • Musician Dana Hanchard

We will seek out those rigorous things we need to be about in order to build a peaceful world.
