Letter of Concern About the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza
On the eve of the new year, Harriett Jane Olson, deputy general secretary, of the Women's Division, sent a letter to Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton concerning the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. She wrote, "On behalf of United Methodist Women I implore you to use your personal influence and the power of your offices to bring about a cease-fire in Gaza and Southern Israel."
