Mission Resource Center Up and Running
Within one month of opening, the new Mission Resource Center, which distributes books, brochures, videos and more to United Methodist Women members, has shipped 3,000 orders.
"We are excited about serving United Methodist Women and are committed to getting them resources for their mission work using the best systems and business solutions available," said Sarah Wilke, head of the center and CEO of UMR Communications in Dallas.
Opening the center has been a big undertaking, she said.
"There have been, of course, some glitches," Ms. Wilke said. "Thank goodness United Methodist Women members are so patient."
The center opened Dec. 1, 2006.
