Leadership Training
Training opportunities and leadership development experiences are important for your growth as an individual member and for the organization.
Elected officers in each local unit, district and conference of United Methodist Women are expected to participate each year in continuing training for their particular responsibilities. United Methodist Women and the Women’s Division provide leadership trainings at Schools of Christian Mission and Leadership Training Events.
Leadership Development Days
The Leadership Development Days is a weekend of orientation, job training and skills development for United Methodist Women members newly elected to conference-level positions of the organization. Held every year in November, the Women’s Division conducts training sessions and plenaries for these new officers.
