Each year, United Methodist Women members prepare for faithful living and action by studying mission studies. Mission studies are offered each year - a geographical, topical, and spiritual growth study. These studies motivate, inform, and enrich our commitment to global ministry.
Members take one of the three mission studies through the organization's Schools of Christian Mission program offered around the country.

Music and MissionWomen in mission have been singing the songs of mission for more than a century through our prayers, our works and our songs. Today, the sounds of mission hymns take on the rhythms and languages of peoples around the world.
Globalization & Its Impact on People’s LivesThe goal of this study is to explore the places where globalization touches the lives of ordinary people. It examines the impact of economic globalization and how global media and communications technologies are drastically altering both economic and human relationships. By looking at these phenomena we hope to understand more fully the impact of globalization on human rights and the social, economic, and political development of various cultures and nations.
Shalom, Salaam, PeaceShalom, Salaam, Peace - three words which mean "peace" from the three "Abrahamic" religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, provide the foundation for this spiritual growth study. Each tradition has a history of neighbors living at peace with neighbors and urges its followers to seek inner peace. Each tradition has a history of violence that cries out for explanation.
India & PakistanThe mission study on India and Pakistan presents the richness and diversity of the cultures of India and Pakistan. It also explores selected current key issues affecting both countries, including gender issues, poverty, child labor, population, caste, illiteracy, religious extremism, and globalization.
