Worship and Experience Hall
Worship:
We come together in one place to worship. Worship is a creative celebration that weaves together song, story and dance from cultures across the globe. As we experience God together at Assembly, we grow together.
We come together in one place to tell our stories. Storytelling is an important way to share our work and preserve the history we are making together and God’s work in our lives.
In that vast space, among the sea of faces from across the globe, within the many languages, and woven through music and dance of many cultures there is one vision, one sound and it is Faith • Hope • Love in Action.
Experience Hall:
The United Methodist Women exhibit area isn't just a place to view mission work, it's a place to experience the true faith, hope and love that Jesus Christ offers to our lives when we put these aspirations into action.
The Experience Hall offers opportunities for social interaction, personal nurturing, health, and membership enrichment. Members and participants can partake in the explosive array of programs, displays, and partnerships that respond to issues closest to their hearts, such as mission, membership, spiritual growth, economic justice, health care, the environment and human rights. It encourages the creation of new paradigms and take-home-tools that stimulate critical thinking for ongoing United Methodist Women action and use at the local level and beyond. The Experience Hall is the focal point for grassroots mission work within United Methodist Women to stimulate awareness (faith), change (hope) and love in action.
We envision the Experience Hall as a place for interactive learning and engagement where experiences are self-created by participants, for participants. Click here to view the optional pre-registered workshops.
