Her singles “Everlasting Love” and Alabaster Box” hit #1 on the Gospel Charts, and she has continued to be a mainstay in Gospel music. She has won numerous Dove and Stellar Awards and appeared on multiple mainstream TV shows such as “Oprah,” “Regis and Kathy Lee,” “Motown Live,” and many more.
In 1996, she performed a duet with Whitney Houston called “Count on Me” for the hit movie, Waiting to Exhale. In 2008, she released her eighth solo album, Thy Kingdom Come. In October 2009, Winans will reunite with her brother as BeBe and CeCe Winans for Still, the duo’s highly anticipated ninth album.
