You Can Participate—Here's How

A local celebration of the 140 th anniversary of UMCOR Sager Brown will be held on the campus at Baldwin, La., Saturday, April 21, 2007. A special invitation is going out to former students of the Godman School to come to campus to share special memories.

What You Can Do

Here is a list of some things that you can do in your local church or conference to celebrate along with the mission center and depot staff.

• Pray for the ministry of UMCOR Sager Brown and for hurting people throughout the world.
  
  
• Print a poster for display around your church.
  
  
• Organize a collection of relief supplies. Go to the Relief Supplies page to find out what is included in each kit.
  
  
• Print a congratulations card and encourage persons in your congregation to sign it for display at the UMCOR Sager Brown Depot.
  
  
• Send a gift to UMCOR Advance #901515, Contain Your Joy, to offset shipping costs of sending kits overseas and other operational costs.
  
  
• Call or email UMCOR Sager Brown to arrange for a mission trip. Go to the Volunteer Page for more information.
  
  
• If you are a past volunteer, send an essay or photo about your experience.
