For decades CAM has connected people living with HIV/AIDS from many different backgrounds and nations. CAM has touched and even saved the lives of of thousands. The ministry uses the motto, "There Is More to Living with AIDS than AIDS."

About the CAM Discussion Group

CAM's electronic mailing list is a private and confidential support elist for persons interested in or involved in HIV/AIDS ministries; persons living with HIV/AIDS; and friends and families of people living with HIV/AIDS. You do not have to use your real name in the list if you need anonymity. Personal material shared in this e-group is not to be shared beyond CAM without the individual's permission.

After signing up, you will receive a private e-mail from one of the moderators asking you to reply to the moderator privately to introduce yourself and the reasons for your interest in this list. You must reply to the e-mail in order to be considered for membership; if you do not reply to the e-mail your request will not be approved.

CAM's Discussion Group Rules

1. CAM is a support elist about HIV/AIDS ministries. A goal of CAM is to create a safe space for its community of users. Please participate in this list with this purpose in mind.

2. Use CAM in the spirit in which it is provided-- one of love and concern. Many people with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones are in the midst of an active grieving process. Please be sensitive to all of our members' needs, especially during holiday periods.

3. Users can not be personally abusive to any individual or group of people. Name calling is not OK. Hate messages are not allowed.

4. Netiquette Hints:
a. Avoid typing your messages in ALL CAPS.
b. When using message quoting, quote only as much of the message you are responding to as necessary for folk to follow your response.
