DEMOBILIZATION, DISARMAMENT, REHABILITATION & REINTEGRATION (DDRR)
DDRR activities support the peace process. It enables former combatants to be reintegrated in to society as productive and responsible community members. DDRR activities always occur within the UN system of bringing peace in a conflicted area. UMCOR NGO programs work primarily with underage soldiers, helping them receive the psycho-social support and education they need as well as giving them an opportunity to learn a marketable skill.
