Give a Gift That Changes the World through UMCOR’s Christmas Wish List

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2006-The United Methodist Committee on Relief's annual Christmas Wish List is now available on UMCOR's homepage at The list gives gift ideas for those looking to give to others this Christmas season. Gifts that serve others honor the birth of Jesus and show our concern for the whole family of God. Remember God's greatest gift by giving in Christ's name to help members of our extended family around the world. As always, 100 percent of donations will go to the designated program.

Gifts can be made in honor of someone as well as giving directly to the program. Those wishing to give a gift in honor of a loved one can receive a card from UMCOR to let that person know of the gift that was made in his or her name. Call UMCOR to find out more about this program at 1-800-554-8583.

Materials that promote the UMCOR Christmas Wish List are available along with the online list. Download and share the Christmas Wish List flyer and bulletin insert to encourage others to give through this seasonal UMCOR program.
