$500 Help Alleviate the Global Food Crisis
About 854 million people throughout the world do not have enough to eat each day. Global food prices have nearly doubled in the last three years, particularly for basic grains like rice, wheat and corn. Hardest hit are children—16,000 of whom die daily due to hunger-related causes.
Your gift of $500 or more can assist UMCOR’s existing hunger programs in developing countries and help meet the needs associated with the burgeoning food crisis through the development of new programs and the upkeep of current ones.
