Under UMCOR’s Cheese Distribution Program, about 6,816 Armenians living in 58 institutions such as orphanages, special schools, retirement centers and mental hospitals receive at least 40 grams of nutrient-rich cheese every other day.

UMCOR in the Democratic Republic of Congo provides scholarships, uniforms, school supplies and mentoring support for more than 2,000 girls through the Girls’ Scholarship Project. The project helps meet each girl's needs both in her studies and in her home life. Medical assistance and counseling are also provided.

$325 Help Build a Washing Facility

After the catastrophic tsunami hit Aceh, Indonesia in 2004, UMCOR continues to be there, contributing to reconstruction of several schools, homes and developing water systems.

Your gift of $325 can contribute to the construction of water and sanitation facilities in 21 schools under the UNICEF WASH project in Bireuen District as well as contribute to UMCOR’s other activities in Indonesia, including home reconstruction and job skills training.
