UMCOR provides small grants to congregations and organizations meeting special needs of newly arrived refugees. Congregations like Rhems United Methodist Church in New Bern, North Carolina.

Your gift of $50 can cover snacks for one day for 40 Burmese refugee children enrolled in SPERC (Summer Program for Education of Refugee Children), a 4-week program to prepare them for their first experience in U.S. schools.

Your gift of $300 can provide them a nourishing lunch for a week.

$200 Supply Basic Needs for Refugees Abroad

The number of refugees fleeing to other countries to escape conflict and persecution is about 11 million—generating instability in many places. And when government assistance comes to an end, UMCOR is there to provide stability through the distribution of basic necessities, supplies and temporary shelter for refugees worldwide.

Help with the cost of legal work for an immigrant family in need of assistance and good counsel. Justice for Our Neighbors provides free, professional legal services to immigrants in monthly clinics. This UMCOR program connects a national network of church-based, volunteer-led immigration clinics to asylum seekers and immigrants who need a helping hand to navigate the maze of rules and laws that affect their lives in the United States.

$250 will help immigrants be united with their families.
