  1. Surviving the Food Crisis
Yongor Kolubah of Caldwell Village, Liberia used to watch her husband grow food to the best of his ability on their one and a half acre vegetable farm. Unfortunately, what they produced together was not enough for them to sell at the market. In fact, it was barely enough to sustain them or their two children. So, her husband took on a job at a local rubber factory to help make ends meet. Download Report

  2. Saving Lives and Restoring Health

The Kissy United Methodist Hospital lies in an impoverished neighborhood on the eastern side of Freetown, Sierra Leone, located in West Africa. The country is rebuilding after 10 years of civil war, which left homes and families destroyed, electric and sewage systems shattered, and the economy very weak. Download Report

  3. Satisfying Hunger in Armenia
The 87 children who live at Hope Orphanage in Armenia truly understand the importance of hope. In addition to the loving care they receive from the orphanage staff they also receive cheese through UMCOR Armenia's Cheese Distribution Program. Soon, Hope Orphanage will have their own cows through the Foods Resource Bank and be able to process their own dairy products, which help these growing children to have a nutritious diet.
