Buley Dure and her husband, Hassan Dayow, were born in Somalia, where they and other Bantu people were basic rights and were terrorized by militia groups. In 1991, they fled with their daughter to a refugee camp in Kenya, where food rations and firewood were meager. There, three more daughters were born. Now, the family lives in peace and safety in South Carolina. Learn more about this family's story and how you can be part of it.
