Andrés and Teresa Vasquez* and their two children came to the United States as refugees from Cuba in 2000. Ana*, the couple's 15-year-old daughter, fell in love with a classmate, Ernesto*, from El Salvador. Read more
 
Clean Water and Sanitation
Water for Life is a project of the Liberia Annual Conference that is working to help people in 45 communities across six counties to have access to clean drinking water. Read more
 
Healthcare in Africa
UMCOR's health unit provided a three-day training for health board members of the Mozambique Annual Conference to augment their leadership skills. This is part of a wider UMCOR Health program to build and empower annual conference health boards across Africa. Read more
 
Sustainable Agriculture
Younger Gant Kolubah is a member of the Liberia Integrated Crop and Pest Management Agricultural Program. She received training from UMCOR in integrated crop and pest management (ICPM) in 2005. Read more
