Sept 18-21, 2008, in Albuquerque, New Mexico: This event will provide an opportunity for lay and clergy women to learn from interesting workshops, develop networks across tribes and communities, hear outstanding women leaders from within the UMC and to join together in awesome worship experiences.

National Lay Speaking School for United Methodist Native Americans
This event trains Native American individuals to become local church lay speakers, certified lay speakers and to maintain certified lay speaker status.

Native American Ministries Sunday
Native American Ministries Sunday recognizes and supports the contributions of Native Americans to the church and society. It is one of six churchwide Sunday offerings that allow The United Methodist Church to partner with existing native ministries and to create new programs.
