Hispanic/Latino Pastor Needed for Michigan
United Methodist Church

The Cabinet of the West Michigan Conference is seeking a Hispanic/Latino pastor to serve La Nueva Esperanza UMC, a mostly Spanish speaking congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan's second largest city. La Nueva Esperanza UMC started in 1983 and is a faith community of 30 active adults and many children located in the center of Grand Rapids' largest Spanish speaking neighborhood.

This is a ministerial position with a salary of $20,000, plus parsonage, family health insurance and pension. The pastor must be bilingual (in English and Spanish), display an ability to empower and train lay leadership, and be willing to network and pursue cooperative ministry in the city.
