Mission Papers
Mission Papers are published every four years by the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church specifically for the delegates to the denomination's quadrennial General Conference.The objective is to engage United Methodist clergy and lay leaders in considering pressing mission challenges and opportunities as they come together to enact legislation affecting the global church. They are issued in the months prior to the conference, which meets in 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 23 through May 2. The papers are also made available to the church and public at large through the internet.
