In today's world, mission education takes place in an environment of mutual learning with mission partners.

Through the people in local churches and local units of United Methodist Women, mission becomes alive in the world. There the first spark ignites, spreading its warmth into the whole United Methodist connection.

Primetimers is a program of the General Board of Global Ministries that provides educational and mission service experiences for older adults (50+ years).
Schools of Christian Mission
Schools of Christian Mission provide opportunities for persons to grow in understanding of the mission of the church in the current world context. Each year over 20,000 people participate in them.
United Methodist Seminars on National and International Affairs
Interactive educational seminars are held throughout the year for groups who want to come to New York City and/or Washington D.C. to study complex social issues from a perspective of faith.
