Nothing But NetsPlease join the effort to end the diseases of poverty by giving through The Advance to Nothing But Nets, a global campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa.

The United Methodist Church, along with Sports Illustrated magazine, the National Basketball Association, the United Nations Foundation, and several other groups are collaborating in Nothing But Nets, which provides mosquito nets and training in their use in high risk areas. Each net costs $10. Thousands of United Methodists have joined the campaign and so far have contributed or raised more than $4 million dollars

Nothing But NetsEvery year more than a million children die from malaria, ninety per cent of them in sub-Saharan Africa. Malaria infects a total of some 500 million people each year, not only causing death but resulting among adults in weaken physical conditions that makes productive work difficult. Yet malaria is a preventable disease. By supporting Nothing But Nets (Advance # 982015), we can begin to control malaria and save future generations.
