Background / History

For many years, the mission has needed a center to both efficiently manage the church nationwide and to receive government recognition of The United Methodist Church in Vietnam.

Mission

The purpose of this building will be:
1) To house UMC offices and meeting rooms.
2) To provide classroom and library space for Wesley Theological College. This is absolutely necessary to efficiently manage the church nationwide and to receive government recognition of UMC in Vietnam.
3) With additions planned, the building will eventually provide dormitory space for students and guest rooms for visiting teachers.

Activities Plan

West Ohio Conference will raise a significant portion of the $300,000 requested. They now have $150,000 pledged.

Project Outcomes

To have the center to serve as a mission center.

Project Indicators

85 million people will be able to hear the Gospel and United Methodism and receive the government recognition of the United Methodist Church in Vietnam.
