Background / History

The major accomplishment of this ministry is the lives saved by God, through the service of Lee Memorial among the orphan, poor, and destitute children, which is visible in the generations of our girls who have formed Christian homes and raised their children in the knowledge and grace of the Lord. Their blessed lives, which we see around us, are a living testimony of God's kindness and grace extended through Lee Memorial.

The school is growing from strength to strength. It serves as a beacon to hundreds of underprivileged students.

Mission

The Lee Memorial Girls High School is an educational center, as well as a home for destitute and orphaned children. Its aim is to win souls for Christ and to build up His church, which He purchased with His own blood. Some of the workers confess their faith in the Divine Son of God made man for the redemption of the world, and in the Holy Spirit, the energizer of all our work. They accept the evangelical Christian faith and rejoice in the blessed hope of Christ's coming again.

The aim is implemented by schools in which the Bible is taught daily, a home for the homeless and other disadvantaged Bengali boys and girls, and in a host of other ways witnessing to the redeeming power of Christ.

Goals & Objectives

The lives that are saved and nurtured grow and present a witness to others. Thus, it is an ongoing process of spreading the wings of the church.

Activities Plan

Bring home poor and destitute children and feed, clothe, and educate them, and also teach them the ways of the Lord.

Project Outcomes

Poor and destitute children will have a secure atmosphere to live in. They will also have proper food and clothes. As they grow, the children will have a higher level of self-determination and opportunity to reach their potential and achieve their dreams. Along with this, they will be living witnesses to the love and care of our Lord and savior and will make His church grow.

Project Indicators

The poor and destitute children who eventually graduate from this school will be healthy in mind, body, and spirit, and will be able to pursue and gain employment in the fields of their choice, while being active participants of the church.
