A Global Mission Partner is a United Methodist congregation that expands its vision of mission by partnering not only with a Global Ministries missionary but also a Person in Mission (PIM). The Persons in Mission program enables a colleague church or ecumenical partner to recruit and hire their own personnel (PIMs) to be in mission in his or her own country
Congregations reach beyond their walls and make a challenging commitment to support people in ministry around the world. As congregations seek to become Global Mission Partners, supporting both Persons in Mission and Global Ministries missionaries, they participate in the work of spreading the gospel of love and hope in Jesus Christ.
