Cuban Methodists Celebrate Dedication of the Temple at Camp Canaan

Amid arrangements of red and white flowers, liturgical dance, dramatization, and the release of a white dove, 3,394 Methodists celebrated the dedication of Templo del Campamento Canaan, on May 24, 2002. Ninety-four of those in attendance were UMVIM'ers from the United States who have worked along side their Cuban friends the past seven years. Together, they built the sprawling camp located on beautiful rolling hills, highlighted with stately royal palm trees. The dedication was led by Obispo Ricardo Pereira Diaz and his cabinet. Below are photographs of the celebration.
