Haiti: How You Can Help
Please pray for those who are hungry, displaced, sick or in poverty in Haiti due to the 2010 earthquake and other natural and human-made disasters, and for the workers who minister to them.
Organize, participate in or lead a UMVIM mission team. Call your Jurisdictional or Conference UMVIM Coordinator for help. Once your team is organized, register & schedule with the US-based Calendaring Coordinator.
Financially support a UMVIM mission team from your Conference or give to Haiti Emergency.
Send relief supplies. Layette kits and birthing kits are in still in great demand. Please consider assembling layette kits and birthing kits to address the basic needs of babies born in displaced persons camps in Haiti. Contact your conference or district office to find out if a designated drop-off point has been established for a cost effective way to transport your supplies to either of the two UMCOR Depots.
