About Mission Personnel
The Mission Personnel program area of the General Board of Global Ministries, The United Methodist Church recruits, selects, trains, assigns, supervises, and supports mission personnel for short-term and long-term service. It also identifies opportunities for service.
The Mission Personnel Unit Is Responsible For:
- Recruitment, selection and preparation of mission candidates
- Supervision and evaluation of personnel and personnel policy
- Personnel support, development and recognition
- Deaconess and Home Missioner programs
- Young Adults in Mission programs
