Global Ministries Mission Seminars

This brochure explains seminars offered by the General Board of Global Ministries to inform visitors about how mission in The United Methodist Church is carried out. The seminars are open to youth groups, confirmation classes, United Methodist Women, new pastors and seminaries, local church mission work area leaders, conference mission leaders and all who are interested in mission.

Youth and Adult Curriculum
This section provides samples of Christian resources relating to youth and adults for use in the emerging and re-emerging church that can be downloaded at no charge. These resources, provided by the Mission Education unit of the General Board of Global Ministries, are intended as "core material" to be adapted to fit varied cultural settings. The emerging and re-emerging churches are encouraged to provide stories, activities and art from their own cultures thereby creating resources that fit their own contexts.
