UMCOR Sager Brown
A Depot That Supplies Hope
The stories of United Methodist movers and shakers echo throughout the UMCOR Sager Brown Depot in Baldwin, LA. You hear stories of young people like 13-year-old Stan Harris who, motivated by his desire to help tsunami survivors, organized a kit drive and more than doubled his goal.
There are stories of people like Patrick Manney who combined his Boston Marathon run with raising resources for people in need. Then there are the volunteers who come to Sager Brown to do some actual "moving and shaking" around the depot. Volunteers are the lifeblood of Sager Brown's work. They provide resources with a heart.
