On May 3, Tropical Cyclone Nargis tore through the Irrawady Delta before slamming into Myanmar's (Burma's) largest city of Yangon. The current death toll is 22,500, with a further 41,000 missing. UMCOR is working with its partner, Church World Service, to bring emergency relief to thousands of people.

As an all-church meeting continues in Fort Worth, Texas, one bishop took time on April 24 to attend another important gathering: snack time in the after-school program.
